Your First Visit to Peak Time Pickleball: What to Know Before You Play

October 31, 2026

Thinking about trying pickleball, or ready to play somewhere new? Here’s everything you need to know before your first visit to Peak Time Pickleball, Charlotte’s largest indoor pickleball club, in South End.

Where we are and when we’re open

You’ll find us at 1515 S Clarkson St, Charlotte, NC 28208, in South End. Parking is free in our three lots. We’re open every day from 7 AM to 10 PM, and all 19 courts are indoors and climate-controlled, so rain or heat never cancels your game.

Pick the way you want to play

  • Book a private court. Bring your own group of up to 6 players. Courts are $40 per hour for visitors.
  • Drop in to Open Play. Sessions are $10–$15 for visitors and are organized by skill level, so you’ll rotate in with players at your level.
  • Start with a beginner session. Brand new? Look for Learn to Play Pickleball, the Beg / Adv Beg / Lower Int Jam (up to 3.25), or the Late Night and Friday Night Beginner Bash on our schedule.

How to book

Reserve online in a few clicks on CourtReserve, or call our front desk at (704) 281-8564. No membership is needed.

What to bring

  • Court shoes or clean athletic sneakers
  • Water and comfortable clothes
  • A paddle — or rent one at the front desk for $3 per person

A first-visit bonus

On your first visit, we deposit 10% of what you spend into your account as club credit to use next time.

Stay after the game

Peak Time is more than courts. Visitors and members can relax in our Member Lounge with refreshing drinks (including beer and wine), and our fitness center, recovery saunas, Pilates, chiropractic care, massage and spa services make it easy to train and recharge in one place.

Ready to play? Book a court or explore Open Play. We’ll see you on the court.
